‘Zero Plastic Model’ Reaches Out To Urban Housing Societies!

Stretching beyond persuading business owners to adopt environment friendly alternatives of conventional plastic, B4AC movement is now reaching out to include housing societies in and around Mumbai in its fight against plastic and poverty.

The ‘Zero Plastic Model’ was kicked-off by B4AC in collaboration with Khushiyaan Foundation on the significant occasion of India’s 70th Republic Day. Vishram Tower in Thane was the first housing society to pledge its support to the Zero Plastic Model that inspires residents to practice segregation of garbage at their homes and use environmentally effective alternatives to plastic like compostable bags to dispose garbage on a daily basis.

Efforts of B4AC’s ace proponent Ryan Punamia at launching the Zero Plastic Model were appreciated by well-known environmental activist Mrs. Himanshu Sharma, who was one of the prominent guests at the launching ceremony at Vishram Tower. She has appealed masses to switch to compostable bags made from organic materials like corn and potato starch.

An enthusiastic participation of residents determined to usher a cleaner and greener future
